Our Mission to Improve Your Life

For the past 13 years I have worked as a board-certified nurse's assistant in many different areas from assisted living to working in one of the biggest trauma hospitals in the Northwest. I am also a certified health coach where I teach and guide individuals on how to live a healthier lifestyle through food and nutrition.

My true passion is to show other women they are not alone and to aid them through the processes of pre-menopausal symptoms. I was struggling with a rollercoaster ride of mood swings and feeling sluggish due to being fifty pounds overweight. I found this naturopathic doctor who helped me reset my hormone imbalances with food and nutrition.

As a certified health coach through the Dr.Sears Wellness Institution I'm able to guide other women through the many stages of life such as help them reach their weight goals, lessen the symptoms of menopause and them motivation and support along their journey to reset their body and mind through food and nutrition.

Our goal at Empathic Health Reset is to help you change the way you think about yourself and progress and allow you transform and better your life on your schedule. Its not easy to reset, so with our help you can get the proper guidance to achieve your goals about weight, image, and mindset.

My Story

I’m really excited to be part of this community! I look forward to sharing my personal story with you and I hope it can inspire those of you who are stuck right now.

About 9 years ago, I was EXHAUSTED, in a way that I would wake up without the energy to do anything. I also lacked the motivation to do the simple things. Going to work and being a mom to my teenage kids was a challenge. Due to the shape of my body, I was usually asked a question that reminded me of my awkward state– when is your baby due? And I would just reply “ I'm not pregnant, I'm just fat.” It was really frustrating and weighed me down heavily.

At that point, I knew I had to make changes in my life, and I needed to make them fast. It was a tough decision because it required that I change my lifestyle and eating habits. No one would make the change for me therefore, I decided to face it once and for all. After going to the doctors for my yearly check-up, I realized that my hormones were severely out of tune, and that was the first thing I began working on.

Now, I get up in the morning I fully rejuvenated and ready to start my day. I feel slimmer when I put on my favorite jeans as they fit much loosely. Having more energy, I regained my passion, and I looked forward to going out on a dinner dates with my fiancé. I began to feel more emotionally balanced, and I was able to think more clearly. With these positive shifts that have now happened to me, I became very delighted to really take care of my body, even if it meant permanently changing from my old lifestyle to which I was accustomed to, to a new and rewarding lifestyle.

Changing the way I eat has allowed me to embrace each day fully knowing that what I put in my body everyday is a strong determinant of my mental and physical health. I also understood that when I add simple little routines into my daily life, I have more energy to get through the day and I sleep better at night.

Here Are the Biggest Things That Have Helped Me in My Health Journey!

Taking charge of my own health was a big win for me, because I was the only one who could do the work. Eventually, everyone around me could see the transformation I made in my life.

My eating habit was a huge challenge for me because I had to eliminate certain foods from my diet and integrate foods that would benefit my health. That was eating food like fish, kale, fermented foods and so on. I wrote down the health benefits of eating those foods. You don’t have to eat those foods specially, this was a shift I needed to make.

The most important lesson was that even when I didn’t eat so well or workout, I didn’t give up on myself. Tomorrow is another day to do better than you did today. Therefore, it's important to write down reachable goals each week along with positive affirmations.
